Migration to Steam de Bethesda could be a problem for some fanatics of Wolfenstein

Earlier this year, Bethesda revealed that it will cease to be compatible with its PC pitcher, although a specific date was not disclosed. Today, the company announced in a new entry into the blog that migration will begin on April 27 and will allow Bethesda.net users to move both their games library as their wallet. Bethesda also noted that many games will have their saved automatically, although some will require transfers to be carried out manually. Bethesda states that it expects that "almost all saved progress is transferable automatically or manually". However, it seems that this may not be the case for Wolfenstein: Young blood.

The editor did not enter into details about the problem, but Bethesda affirms that the data saved for the game can not be transferred between the two platforms. However, the virtual currency in that game and all other Bethesda titles will be transferable. Users will not have the option to transfer the information from your account to the PLAYSTATION or XBOX consoles. The current PC initiator will continue to be available for use until May 11, but the company encourages players to make the change earlier than late.

Internet Rejoice As Bethesda Shut Down Their Failed PC Launcher & Migrate All Games To Steam "Once the migration process to Steam is available, we will inform everyone and we will update these frequently asked questions with the link on where and how to migrate. Keep in mind that you can start this process at any time after it is available, but May 11 you will not be able to play your games purchased at the Bethesda.Net initiator. You will not lose access to your library at Bethesda.Net on May 11, only the ability to play them in the initiator «, writes the company.

Hopefully, migration will be an easy process for most users! From the publication of the blog, it certainly seems that it should be quite painless, although wolfenstein: young blood players can feel a little uncomfortable if Bethesda can not make saving transfers work for the game. However, there are still a few weeks, so I hope the publisher can solve that problem!
