Wow: A little fight

This is a listing of specific PC titles. For a list of all PC titles, see List of computer games. The complying with is a list of video games released on the Linux operating system. Games do not need to be exclusive to Linux, however they do need to be natively usable on Linux to be noted below.

The small mechanical chicken in burning Crusade Classic are the big star. They are better than any fighting rush and every war drum.

In World of Warcraft Classic and The Burning Crusade Classic, WOW is not yet so smooth polished, as is the case in the retail version of the game. This sometimes ensures funny effects or just really strong buffs, in which the developers probably never provided that they are exploited.

A small chicken now ensures excitement — good, strictly speaking a machine.

A Little Dash of Seasoning, WoW TBC Quest The Gnome Cottage Chicken can summon engineers and thus create a small, mechanical companion who supports them in combat 90 seconds. Particularly exciting: The mechanical chicken can its owner and all group members the slaughterhouse buff, which increases the pace by 5%.

What makes the chicken so strong? The tempo buff of 5% is up to 5 times stackable, which gives the character a whole 25% pace — for a whopping 4 minutes. While this is only possible if every 5 group members summon a chicken, but that is hardly an obstacle. Previously, it was a bit dependent on chance, whether and when you get the buff — but now the players have found a method that the Chicken quasi immediately screams.

The buff ranges in most cases to slow a whole boss fight long and thus simplify them drastically.

Several YouTuber show how to get the buff very reliable, such as here:

What does Blizzard say? According to a forum fee of Blizzard, you are aware that players exploit the small chicken targeted. If you have already made some small changes, the buff will no longer exist beyond the logout. Before that, it was possible to stack the buff of many dozens of times by simply looking out. Now that is no longer possible, so that the buff has reached its highlight after a maximum of 5 stacks.

Blizzard keeps a look at it, but does not want to continue to adapt anything yet. This also lies because this behavior is more difficult to generate, i.e. for warlocks, for which you only have to click on a single button every 2 minutes.

Why is that a problem? Basically, one can of course be argued whether using these mechanics is really a problem. After all, the bosses in Burning Crusade Classic are not particularly strong, and a coordinated team can easily defeat them without exploiting such mechanics. In addition, it was also possible in Burning Crusade.

A criticism that Blizzard wants to tackle, is the visibility of the buffs in the log files. For in the fight tip and the evaluation of the boss fight, it sometimes does not see if players have used such a buff or even like many stacks. That makes it difficult to guide leaderboards and finish such utilization. Here Blizzard wants to see if you can view the more clearly.

What do you think of such exploitation of the game mechanics? Should that remain exactly because that then did so or should Blizzard intervene here because it is now used in a larger style?
